Costa Blanca North or South: Where do you buy a house? Welcome to Nelemans!
Are you thinking of buying a second home in Spain? The Costa Blanca is rightly a popular destination for many Dutch people. There are beautiful beaches, beautiful sights and the sun shines almost all year round on the Costa Blanca. The World Health Organization does not call it 'the healthiest region in Europe' for nothing!
The north of the Costa Blanca
The Spanish Costa Blanca is a vast area. The north runs from Denia to Alicante, the south from Alicante to Pilar de la Horadada. How do you choose between the north and the south if you want to buy a house on the Costa Blanca? There are beautiful cities in both the north and south and there is a lot to see and experience. The northern Costa Blanca has more mountains close to the sea. Because of this there are many bays and different types of beaches. Here it rains a little more (still not much!), Making it greener than the south. In the mountains are authentic, cozy villages from where you have a beautiful view.
The south of the Costa Blanca
The south of the Costa Blanca is a flatter region. You will find wide, beautiful sandy beaches and several saltwater lakes. Here too many beautiful cities and sights, just like in the north. The mountains, which start about 20 kilometers from the sea, surround the area. This ensures that it is a very healthy climate, for example for people who suffer from ailments and problems with the muscles, joints and lungs.
The south is a drier region than the north of the Costa Blanca. The vegetation is less green, but with more palm trees and orange trees. Both areas are interesting and beautiful to buy a second home in Spain anyway. Enjoy the good life on the Spanish Costa Blanca to the full.
