New building plan with 9 to 23 storey flats and hotels in Torrevieja!
The coastal town of Torrevieja in the Vega Baja district in the province of Alicante wants to expand. That is why a building plan has recently been presented, including nine flats up to 23 floors high.
Several project developers have presented a plan to the municipality of Torrevieja to build 9 high-rise flats up to 23 floors high for the beach of Los Naufragos. The area where the flats will be built has the name Puerto de la Sal near the marina. The plans include two 20-storey residential flats and a 17-storey hotel on part of the site.
On another site are two 23-storey residential flats and a 10-storey tower that should also become a hotel. On a third site there are also two residential flats of 23 floors and 9 floors for a hotel. The site is still owned by the municipality, but the project developers can buy the site if they meet certain conditions and the building plans are approved.
This new building plan of nine towers is in addition to other building plans in Torrevieja. Examples are Baraka, next to the park Doña Sinforosa (two towers), on the other side of El Acequión, from project developer Metrovacesa, (three towers) and that of Curva del Palangre (four towers) of Grupo Don Sento.
