News: Belgian looking homeless who has given back that wallet with 1,000 euros
A homeless last Saturday in the city of Amposta in the south of the province of Tarragona a wallet containing 1,000 euros to the police.
The police could then retrieve the owner and return the lost 1,000 euros.
According to the Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia, the owner is a Belgian citizen of the municipality of Vinaros in the north of the province of Castellón (Comunidad Valenciana). After the Belgian had been warned by the police and collected his wallet with all the money, the search for the honest homeless began.
Last Saturday, a homeless (sintecho) resident in the street found a wallet containing 1,000 euros of cash, identity cards and bank cards. The homeless gave the wallet to a female employee of a catering establishment who immediately called the police.
The police knew the Belgian owner to retrieve and the wallet with all the contents thanks to the honest homeless return. Now the police and the Belgian are looking for the homeless person to thank him for his honesty. Until now they have not succeeded yet and so the story was posted on Facebook.
