News: Municipality of Alicante will increase control on campers at Agua Amarga beach
Like every year and despite earlier measures, the Agua Amarga dog beach in Alicante is again full of campers this winter.
However, it is indicated everywhere with signs that it is forbidden to park and sleep with campers. The municipality is now going to place additional agents at the beach to prevent the parking and camping of campers.
The Agua Amarga beach is located between the Playa de Urbanova and the EUIPO and is a beach where one can come with the dog but also a lot of motorcyclist use of the open space on the coast to camp there.
Despite the fact that it is forbidden to camp there with a camper, this happens in the winter months. The municipality of Alicante has already indicated to check with the Policía Local, but that has never really gone well.
That is why the municipality of Alicante is going to work together with the regional authorities, so that checks can be made of the Policía Nacional and / or the Guardia Civil who will deploy agents of the Seprona Environmental Police. More will be patrolled by the various police units to prevent the parking and camping of campers.

There is talk of camping when the sunblinds are lowered, the tables and chairs are placed outside and you position yourself as if you are standing on a campsite. This is not allowed but is often done by many people, especially Spaniards
