For those who do not know what the title means the following.
Both tapa, pincho (or pintxo), aperitivo as well as the modern tent pie can be used as a word for an appetizer or snack. The most famous of the list is of course the tapa, known from the tapas bars in Spain. But in the end they all have the same meaning.
Spain has one thing as a feature where many foreigners who come to live in Spain love and probably learn the fastest, the tapas or "tapeo" or "ir de tapas" where one can eat a few appetizers while enjoying a glass of wine or beer and enjoy of culinary delights and friends.
In many bars in Spain it is common to get a "tapa" or "pincho" with your drink for which you do not have to pay and is usually the specialty of the house. However, that is not the case everywhere and it depends on which part of Spain people go "tapas". In all cases it concerns appetizing appetizers and Spanish appetizers that are usually consumed for lunch or dinner.
Nowadays, however, it is also quite normal to have a "pica pica" in which different tapas or pintxos (pìnchos) are put on the table and the people present eat together. Tapas are also being eaten more and more as main meals instead of just an appetizer.
While the words "tapa" and "pintxo" or "pincho" are used the most, it is also possible to speak of an "aperitvo" or even a "tentemp" "which descends from tente and pié (already eating something at the bar) .
